Thread: Educate me on use of Flusing 2.

So I've finally made it up to CounterSnipe 2 and aquired the "holy grail of grinding" - Flushing Shot 2. Now can someone explain to me why it would so great for PvE? Grinding quenkers on Dantooine this shot appears to be inferior to Conceal or HS3 because it a.) doesn't deal nearly as much damage as HS3 b.) makes mobs (and friends) aggro unlike conceal shot. Unless I'm buffed by doc and wearing some serious armor, it's a detriment to soloing.

Now, given the Flushing 2 gets on these forums, I will assume my tactics are wrong. What can I do better to take advantage of Flushing 2?

Weapons:
T21 (154-544 @ 7.6)
T21 (154-387 @ 3.8)

Engaging from 50-64m in prone and under mask scent. Not wearing any armor unless I have to.

Thanks in advance.

Flushing 2 ( or any AOE shot ) is only really aneffective way to boost your XP gainif you have something to Tank for you. Though if you dont have any CH, Non CH tanks aren't all that fantastic anymore, BE Non CH pets may be okay?

Basically you get all the mobs to aggro your Pet / Player Tank and AOE to your hearts content.

Solo, Conceal, Headshot and Mindshotare more useful.

Flushing 2 will net you some nice XP in group combat though, most groups would have a CH or Tank in it I'd say

human tanks work quite well as well, provided you have a friend who is willing to put himself on the line this is the best way to do it:

have your friend go after the lair, mobs aggro him/her, then start flurry/flushing2 the mobs, kill them, let the tank heal up, tap the lair, lather, rinse repeat

From what I remember yes, but depends on what you are fighting of course.

Flushing shot is good. It is a 4x modifier at not so big of a delay. Actually flushing shot 2 gives a better DPS then strafe shot 2 if you are not master marksmen.

To summarize:

Flushing Shot 2 - An AoE random pool attack with a x4 multiplier; it applies Stunmodifiers (i.e. penalties to defense)andslows down (a little) an opponent’s rate of fire

Flushing shot 2 is extremely useful in pvp as well. I'm not sure if alot of people know this, but if you stun someone, you basically turn their ranged/melee defense off. With all the defense stacking going on, the implications are pretty obvious.

The way i did it was set the pet on the lair and use FS2 on the lair all spwans run to the lair and in the cone.

I have seen some real good non CH pets experimented on health (they have lot less mind thou, but its not realy needed anyway).
