ok ok ok so many of you have allready been riflemen or allready are. I didn't get to play in Beta and I was so eager to play I was going bonkers. I couldn't play so I read the forums avidly and have been lurking for a while. I love the idea of playing a rifleman. I know there are drawbacks and problems with the class (64m max range ugh) but I still love it. I have loved it since I started playing. And yesterday I finally cashed in the 125000 rifle xp I can't get a decent weapon on my server (gorath) so I don't expect to see a T21 anytime soon, and I have done just about all my hunting with a D20a but I still love it. A friend just told me where I can find a laser rifle so Im off to go get it. I just had to share cause im so jazzed to have made it this far Now to start climbing up the rifleman tree . and thanks to all the people posting the good advice and those of you who have positive things to say about the rifleman. yes we have weaknesses but we have strengths too, and if you learn to work the strengths and minimize the weaknesses you can do well.

i'm not trying to be a jerk but 61 is a VERY high mind cost.

everyone is blinded by the high max damage of laser rifles... you should consider going out and trying some of the others. you'll be surpised how much better a nice dlt20 is

Try using a E-11 Rifle. It's nice. Not a bad mind cost, nice speed for a rifle. It says 5.3 on mine, but fires at about 3-4 which is pretty fast for a rifle.

Congrats on hitting rifleman, I just hit it today myself. Looking for a T21, but it's no priority.

yeah i kno, but its better than my old laser rifle (108 mind cost)

in pvp its all about raw damage... I can't be trying to hit them 4 times with a DLT20, I only get about 2 shots and/or spam the last little bit with spraystick
