I posted the results of several accuracy tests on the Pistoleer forums, with the same title as this thread (Weapon Accuracy Test). The bottom line is that accuracy and defense modifiers seem to act more or less like straight sums to the chance to hit (but are divided by 2 before being applied as a percentage).

Very nice post, it seems that the bonus on some pistoleer specials is one of the reasons they are so accurate.
