Thread: Do not start rifle unless you intend to finish
the path of a riflemen is not a test of strength it is a test of character! the exp is slow and the rewards little until you can finally call yourself a master. If you do not have the will power or are able to run this guantlet to the end. it will be to your benefit if you dont begin.
i was proud to own a rifle but after realizing that i was unable to reach master due to lack of skill points that, to me, i would not be able to surrender, i had to stop and rethink my options. i could only fill out 2/3 of riflemen. as we all know if you are not a mster you will be subject toseemingly endless pain and death.
this is not a complaint about how weak riflemen are but rather praise to their greatest strength. The type of person to put themselves through so much pain and hell to reach any goal, no matter how great or small, and to stay the course to the very end, is a person with honor and one that demands respect.
the whiners and people who cry about the class come and go, unwilling or unable to finish what they have started.
but those who do stick to the path are really the best of us. You all have my deepest respects.
(regrettably) former riflemen,

I for one will not master. I'm staying at 3,0,0,0 until I get bored of either Ranger or DE and then I'll master Rifleman. Yea its a challange. Yea I die alot. Yea I PvP and die even more. Its fun though. I love carrying around that massive T21.
Just on a side note I've been thinking maybe 0,0,0,3 would be smarter. Any advice?
Unfortunately not all of us have the skill points to spend to master, much as we might like to. =(

I am a Rifleman and COmmando. Here's the problem with the concept of this thread. No one should feel they need to power grind to Master to enjoy the class. It is like eating filet mignon by swallowing it whole. The class was supposed to be savored. It should not be enjoyable only when you hit the top. If they fixed the glaring issues, no one would be saying this.
In my opinion if you dont have the skill points to go master, you should go for 0,0,0,4 or 3this will give you speed and an area attack flurryshot2, this alone takes you along way when we are talking damage.
With more pointsI would foucs on the sniperline for added accuracy maybe mixit a bit withcountersniping depending on the points avalible.
Sounds like an advertisment for the Marines. Which is sort of the case when it comes to this class. The goal of the Marine Corps is to create riflemen. Some of those riflemen continue on to the scout (sniper) program. But in the end all Marines are supposed to be highly skilled marksmen.
