Say I have a +40 Rifle speed. What exactly does that mean? is a +10 a second? .5 .3? Does anyone actually know?

+40 weapon speed = 40% increased attack speed when wielding that weapon

At least I think that's how it goes ...

Personally, it should be more along the lines of .25% - .5% for balance reasons (I fail to seehow allowing high damage rifles with 10.0 speed to fire every 2 seconds is logical) but that's just me ...

Don't you love how a Bounty Hunter can hit someone in the eye at 64 meters away while doing backflips, on a foggy night, through a wall, while afk? Yup, seems balanced to me ...

Be aware that every special shot you do (headshot, mindshot, flurry shot, etc) has a speed penalty usually in the 1x to 2x range. So as I understand it, you would figure out a shots timing like this:

(base speed of weapon)x (speed penalty) x (100 - riflespeed)% = final actual speed

Example: If you are firing Headshot2's (1.75 speed penalty) with a5.6 second rifleand you have +40 rifle speed:

( 5.6 ) x ( 1.75 speed penalty ) x ( 100 - 40 )% = 5.88 (so almost no diff from base, lol)
