Thats what I have heard, but I don't feel like adding swordsman to another character of mine
The two templates I am looking at are Master Rifles / Master Doc, and Master Rifles / Master Ranger. The obvious plus side to Doc is the heals and quick rebuffing, while with Ranger I can track down Mobs like Krayts or Kimos easily. I would like input from those who have tried these templates (or something simalair), and what they thought about them. Thank you

I will agree 100 percent to this...I would add 0/0/0/4 TKA to it as well...Puts you at 132 on ranged defense, 124 on melee defense, not to mention the ranged/melee mitigation...
The biggest thing is this: You get almost every damage type in the game...With rifles you get: Heat (Berzerker or Laser Rifle), Energy (T21), Stun (Jawa), and Acid (DXR6-B)....With Swordsman you get Kinetic (pick a weapon except Powerhammer) and Blast (Powerhammer). Good buffs and plenty of mind food, there shouldnt be a single creature you can't kill...All that is left is electricity and lightsaber
I was a Rifleman/Doc for while and loved it. The buff on the fly was the best thing about it. I kept the pharm line in medic so I can use stim D's, but that may be changed to get the meditate line in TKA as well....
