I may be off on this somewhere, but I figure it to be like this: 152 damage x 4(PvP reduction)= 608. 608/1.5(automatic mulitplier when using any weapon)= 405.333(~405). 405<470(the minimum damage of the weapon). Then, I notice it says that I am notcerted in the examine window. When throwing the weapon, I received no 'you are not certified' message as I do with other weapons. It looks like the cert does exist somewhere within the Commando tree- or itmay notexist at all

Thanx for the info. I was kind of guessing that the cert would be innate since it's a limited use quest item.

I know in the past that some weapons would show you were not certified in the examine window but would work as certified when equipped. However grenades are kind of a special case since you don't actually equip them. You just throw them like traps. So even if not certified you may not get the message.

I'll try to find some regular grenades and throw them to see if I get the message. Think I have some Glop grenades laying around my shed.

I'd say that's very likely. Too bad I deleted the Glops I looted earlier today- could have checked that out too Know any Master Commandos? I'll have my friend try one out whenever he gets on and see what happens then
