Ok, i realise there is a thread regarding hunting jedi in groups but i need advise on how to kill a jedi solo.
Heres the story - i mainly play this game for PVP, so im in theed hunting declared peeps and get ambushed by 5 of them, nice long fight but i end up as the victor. As i am checking my status after the battle i am set upon by a jedi who uses KD / dizzy, curing that i get up apply intimidate / stun on him and start kiting.
Im hitting him consistenly with the t21(750 max dmg) but only hitting him for avg 100 per hit. Switched to ion, same thing. Was going to try with jawa but didnt cause the weapon swith delaying is bloody annoying. Basically his mind was healing faster than i could damage it, even though it was only around the 2000 mark max.
We both kinda gave up in the end, 10 minute battle and not going anywhere - just decaying my armor!
I killed a couple more of his standard class mates before 3 more jedi's popped up, lets just say 4 jedis throwing their light sabers at ya, sucks...especially as they combine this with childish verbal abuse.
So i havent had to much to do with fighting a jedi 1 on 1, usually they are cowards who only hunt when they have another 10 people guarding them.
Questions been ;
1. Any preferred weapon type ? dx6 w/ dmg powerup ? t21, ion, dxr?
2. Any preferred special type once they have been stunned ? should i strafe shot, mind shot ? what pool should i aim for ? health action or mind.
3. Any other tips appreciated.
Thanks guys!

You can hit a Jedi ranged? Everytime I fight one I have to put down my beloved rifle and go melee. Reguardless the same tactic apply. I have fought a few jedi's, only one that was actually willing to fight me alone in a duel though. The trick to killing jedi's is getting them on the defensive and keep draining their force pool. If they have low mind, attack it. If they have low health, go for the power hits (strafeshot2). You have to keep them busy healing themselves and draining the force pool. It takes a while if you are the first thing he's fought in a while. Also every chance you get stick a state on them. It's more force points if they decide to heal it.

Thanks for your input, appreciated!
Yeah, to hit a Jedi ranged just make sure you do a Stun on them to get their primary defences down then whack a intimidate -this is very important! asthis makes their block a lot less effective - plus, they hit like a punk afterwards, especially if u have some lightsaber resist armor
I think ill just try spamming flurry / strafe shot with dmg powerupt21 next time and see how i go.

lol, riflemen unite to discuss proper jedi killing techniques.
Technique:
-stun
-intimidate
-keep them healing until force pool is gone
-death blow
-/addignore to stop hate tells
-deal with lackey's

this is why i quit BH a few months ago and switched to rifle. jedi are fun to hunt down and shoot at until the fight's over. that's when the l33t-speak starts...
