Going from Rilfleman 3-4 today and then will be heading up the Rifleman's tree. I'm a wookie for this character. So, given our unique armor situation, I'm just curious what any wookies did to get from Rifleman 3-4 and then beyond. I know the armor and buffs help because I've used them for some missions, but I want to progress through Rifleman 3-4rather quickly and would like any advice, wookie or otherwise, but mostly for the wookie situation. Thanks for any input.

I know this one from experience, my brother used to be a wookie (sounds funny saying that), but from what I remember, he never had armor until recently.
What I would suggest is to take up creature handler, not too hard to get and can be very rewarding later on.

A lot has changed since I was a Novice. Back then there were no buffs, nor armor, and a host of other issues that made Rifleman rather difficult. Especially since I did it solo.
My tactic was to find targets I had a chance against and did NOT deathblow just in case. I also tried to pull targets so they wouldn't call friends. /WarningShot was a life savor for me back then.
Most of my Rifleman XP was from Pikets.

I got most of my rifle XP using Imperial Swamp Troopers to tank for me, since i wasn't a Creature Handler. I suppose it would work the same way with a creature pet though.

I was a rebel when I did it. I would go to the small battlefield on Corellia and killed Stormies their, and fired a few shots at the AT ST. It has a building you can hide in, though STs do go in their sometimes. Of course this was the time when I had no armor or buffs. Now you can put on some armor and go kill higher mobs then you should.

I play unbuffed, unarmored, and occasionally take a sip of brandy, and concealshot everything.

I have been a wookiee since Beta in this game, I can tell you We learned to survive alot better than people
that buy Composit with80% base and start leveling, Without armor they are history.
What I did was mastered TK, So I was pretty Bad @ss in front of all animals. I grouped in Dathomir and
got Baz-Niche Missions (Little Ugly birds with 11k ham!!) The lvl 99 missions pay about 10k, but they have 6 of these creatures around them, Each kill gives you 5k xp!!! 500 Combat Xp, SO thats 5000X6= 30k per spwan, 30kX3= 90k All three Spwans almost 100k per lair!!!
pretty cool ha? Imagine you get 2 at a time
thats 200k in a trip, in 3 hours that I was buffed I did 10 missions, thats 10X200k=2 Mil XP
So you see it's not that hard, Any Combat Profession can get the same xp, Not just Rifleman
Hope this helps.

is rifleman/doctor a good template to combat our sub-par armor (atleast for now)?
