What sections of the Rifleman tree should I begin using my XP on once I gain Novice Rifleman?
I'm thinking the Concealment tactics and Countersniping tactics first. But, I am open to advice. Thanks.

The only thing in Concealment of any real use is ConcealShot which is gained in the first box. As for the rest. Are you going to have someone to tank for you?
If so go up Counter-Sniping first until you hit FlushingShot2 (Counter-Sniping III). Then go and finish off Accuracy, finish off Counter-Sniping, then Concealment.
If you solo then I would say go up Accuracy one or two boxes, then get Concealment I, then go back and finish off Accuracy. Then go all the way up Counter-Sniping and then finish off Concealment.
In either case, use Combat XP as soon as you can in Rifle Abilities for the speed increases.

sorry I don't agree. ConcealShoot is awesome.
It's true that at novice level your speed will be discouraging ... but u can attack heavy targets without be hurted and that's helps a lot in grinding.
As noviece I went for concealment1 and started to hunt pikets on dantooine for 3500-4000 exp/each kill. You have just to learn how to shoot (kneel with buffed mind) and when to /peace (after each missed attack) and your rifle will do the rest ...
Aside this go up to snipingIV that's great!
One of the most difficult thing to do is buying a good T21. U need some training to see which stats are important!!

If u have full comp dont wear it unless u have good speed tapes it will only make mind use a lot worse. personal i like low HAM weapon that still have high strength with a good damage slice and damage powerup theyll be as strong as a damage one and have low HAM penalty.
im with most rifleman concealment is not useful i found it too slow at low levelsif u make a DoT theyll agro anyway (pointless) and the damage isnt all that great aiming for mind pool best bet as u know ull only hit that pool and speed it up. as with concealment u will hit random pools take a good deal longer.

Concealshot is pretty horrible unless you have the speed to fire it quickly, it just takes too long to kill things with it otherwise. Until you 'do' get higher levels of speed, I'd recommend you focus exclusively on Headshot3 + Mindshot2. Focusing on just the mind bar keeps your HAM costs to a minimum (critical when using a T-21) and they are pretty powerful shots for early on. By the time you get the third box in speed, you can begin using concealshot effectively, till then I say it's just too dang slow.
