Thread: I'm back after 6 months, what's changed?

Like it says, I logged in for the first time in 6 months last night, found my 4/2/4/3 Rifleman right where I left him. Discovered speeders and player cities right away. I alsonoticed that I can't call out my level 13 pet (found out about the exchange), that I didn't remember how to fight (but it's comming back to me) and I have no idea what's a good gun, or where's a good place to go and hunt for XP.
So, I bought myself a new Laser rifle, and I see that we have T21s on Tarquinas now, I'm guessing I should invest in one of those. Does everything else still work pretty much the same?
How about the styles, is everything still working the same, any big updates? Are any of the abilities I wrote of as worthless any good now?
Oh yeah, and I noticed I was only getting 1 XP for killing mobs, not just the little guys, but everything, I assume this is a known bug, what's the deal, and what do I do to avoid/fix it.
Thanks, I can't wait to head home and play some more tonight. I've got to get out of this rut, and back in to the groove.

Go get musician/dancer buffs. They will double your mind stats for 2 hours.
Go get Doc buffs, they'll add 2800 points to your Health and Action stats. Don't pay more than 15 k for them.
Buy a ticket to Dantooine and get quenker or savage quenker missions.

p.s. no more 2.5x damage from melee and conceal shot works now.
pps. we now are the premier ranged profession for PvP. Composite armor has gotten up to 80-90% BASE efefctivness, and you can find stun armor goign up to 40%. Use the Jawa in PvP, and once you get a 100k credits or so built up go buy a DXR-6b Disruptor rifle. They're AP2 and do acid damage and have great acuracy mods.
ppps. Combat Medics are the only things that can really kill us in PvP. Beware.

It's all that Dath meat we had a month ago. Rancors were dropping 900+ OQ 800+PE carnivore meat. I made a bundle selling that stuff.
