I was in the Geo Lab earlier with a mate of mineat point when i had like 10 m i could do easy 2000+ damage to most thing with my dxr-6b so after a while we had a we competition bored waiting for the acklay to spawn. we took a kilklik (sp?) each as there 2 to see who killed fastest. once i walked up to the enchance kilklik my attack went down load from 2000+ to barely hitting 800 damage if that.

once he took the kilklik away from me i was doing my usual massive damage.

is this a penalty when in melee we do half damage if not more to balance r profs into making us more like sniper or covering men that shot at the melee kill the creatures near them. or is this just a love one of a kind bug that just so unique and rare in SWG (u can actually hear the sarcasim)

was mainly wondering if anyone else noticed this ive seen it once or twice before. im often with melee range and geo lab is a small place rarely get a good range in there when i do i open up and kill everything.

were you intimidated by the Kliknik? That's supposed to cut down damage output.

I've had no trouble getting big number hits at 0 meters. Especially with the DXR.

don't think you can "cure" intimidate.

And from what I know there's no way to build up a defense to it either. Zabraks have an innate +10 defense versus it, but I've never seen Defense vs. Intimidate on character builder.

p.s. Discovered Fencer's can get +20 Defense to Intimidate.
pps. Carbineer's can get +25 vs. Intimidate also.

Not true, I do it all the time both for myself or for my companions.A Doc can cure Intimidate using the /Healstate command. Of course, it does, as he said, require the correct med packs. With different med packs, the /Healstate command can also cure Dizzy, Blind,or Stun. So if he is a Doc, he can cure Intimidate.

hunh. Good to know.

I knew docs could cure states, but I didn't know Intimidate was one of them. For whatever reason, I assummed it was different.
