Thread: Do I have the only T21 that escaped the nerf?
They re- nerfed the T21 this morning but, beside AP, here is what I got.
Pre-Patch: 150-478, AP:Heavy, Speed 6.9 (sliced for speed)
Post Patch: 150-478, AP: light, Speed 6.9
So, I dont notice too ,much of a difference. And I have much to say about this nerf. Once when the T21 had no AP at all, with the gun described above, I hit a 5593 dmg HS3.
Now, I have seen a T21 in a thread on the main boards with those stats: DMG: 224-712, Speed 9.3. With an AP 3, my guess is this thing could get of a HS 3 of 15k......the T21 needs a nerf, no doubt about it.
But now, it has the same APas a scatter pistol. Please make it Medium. That would be good.
Also, to those saying that we can shoot the thing at 1 sec at master and that we are overpowered. Maybe its true. I definately know that if I can get a 7k-8k shot each 2 seconds at master using HS 3....I AM overpowered.
The most frustrating thing in being a rifleman is that you ain't worth much before you hit master....then all of a sudden you become overpowered.
Maybe they should spread the master speed bonus on a couple of tier 2 box. That would help a lot.
Its my take on it. Was the nerf necessary.....yes, but that class need some fixing now.
Dunno how the hell they're going to fix it.
I think any thoughts of us being overpowered have to be tempered by the fact that we use the mind pool for our special attacks and this cannot be buffed or healed by medics.
So in the 15 man group fighting Kimos or Dark Jedi, the pistoleer can spam his best special attack literally all day long, getting his HAM healed as necessary. The rifleman can only do a limited number of special attacks and then has to rest to recover his mind pool. At the end of the day, even with an AP3 T21, it's the pistoleer who does the most damage simply because the rifleman has more downtime and/or is forced to use normal shots to conserve mind pool while the pistoleer continues spamming stoppingshot and the like.
Yeah, You are right in group Pecos. We do have the shaft compared to pistoleer and carbineer users. The thing is when we solo with the unnerfed T21, I can 3 shot a snorbal for 4k xp, need 30 seconds rest with a spice putting my focus around 1000, and 3 shot 1 or 2 others...for 12k xp total in less than 5 minutes.
The balance will be very hard to achieve....good luck devs...............
i have 2 left which were made yesterday. it now states armor light, but i think its only the display. 2 days ago they stated the change to apv 3was only valid on new ones, so i assume the backnerf doesnt hit the t21's made the 24hrs it lasted.
i think im going to put those 2 on my house wall and sell them in 2 years as ueber weapons for $$$$$$$ if they dont implement degrading over time, lol

If T21's made yesterday escaped the nerf, good. I got one yesterday, about 125-456 dmg (guess, I forget the exact numbers), heavy armor piercing and 9.6 speed. Unsliced so far. And as soon as I get master artisan you better believe I'm going to make a ton of 99% effective repair tools so I can keep that baby at max durability (and pray I never fail). 60k on Kettemoor, but worth every credit to have a T21 for what it's supposed to be.
