Rifleman Archive

This has been a pretty big subject with rangers, but I don't see a lot of mention of it here, which leads me to believe that one has to be a Rilfeman / Ranger to experience this. Correct me if I'm wrong.


When I use Take Cover, and stand up again, I'm unable to move at more than a slow walk. It remains this way until I do one of three things.

Take Cover again and again, testing each time until it goes away.

Swim

Logout

Has anyone who is not a Rifleman / Ranger experienced this?

This HAS been mentioned in this forum before several times (not lately), but I think it was determined that it WAS a Ranger problem.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong....

I am a Rifleman/Ranger and I havent expirienced this yet...although i just reached ranger a few days ago and only have wayfaring 1 so far so maybe its a bug with higher wayfaring.

As a Ranger/Rifleman, I experience this problem a lot. Thankfully, I've found a way to get rid of it. When I get up from cover, I spam Stand and Prone about a dozen times (I use F1 and F4, the default keys.) This almost always breaks the walking bug for me.

I have been having the same problem. Another thing I have noticed is when we are running from a high level creature or NPC I run alot slower if I am not burst running. There is still alot of bugs in this game.

I am constantly having this problem as well !! Has anyone seen or heard of a potential hot fix for this issue ?

Besides the swimming fix ?? This creates a problem becausetake cover is a usefull technique. Please let me know if there has been a fix to this..
