Thread: Conspiracy Theory SOE knows what they're doing...
I thinkSOE DOES know what they're doing with these Nerfs/unNerfs/Nerfs....
-- I buy the game and pick Rifleman because that's what I want to be "when I grow up".
-- Ipay SOE $15/month(playing 2-4 hrs/day) building up myrifleman skills
-- They nerf rifleman so bad, I throw away weeks of XP and change to Pistoleer or BH
-- I pay SOE $15/month tobuild upPistoleer/BH so I can compete in the game on a good level.
-- SOEnerfs Pistoleer/BH, or unNerf Rifleman to make it very attractive again.
-- I pay SOE $15/month to go back and do what I wanted to do in the first place
Anyone else see a cycle developing here? Don't be surprised if Pistoleer and BH get nerfed big time in about a month or two. Cynical? And why shouldn't I be?
I disagree I think it's pretty obvious that SOE has no idea what they are doing or where they are headed. Their stragety for balancing classes is to hit any profession with the nerf stick that makes them "scared" or "nervous" that their in-game bounty hunters and pistoleers will get killed by a rifleman 
riflemen having a front loaded all or nothing advantage? That would be terrible......

Electric.... I agree with you. This post is just for grins. I think Holocron really made SOE look bad on this one. Offering a post asking for opinions and then TOTALLY IGNORING all the fabulous input, followed by activating the nerf LESS THAN 14 hours later is totally embarrassing.
As I've said other places, I totallypraised Holocron in his post for coming to us first, but now I think he looks like the biggest A$$hole at SOE.
I don't know if he realizes what he has done. He has ruined the possibility of ever having a valid post here again. No one around today will ever believe anything he says.
