Rifleman Archive

I was just told that to continue my path towards absolute power that I must become a Master Rifleman. I have previous experience as a master dancer and was currently working my way up through the Pistoleer and CH tree.

I hope to learn a great deal about this wonderful profession and appreciate all the insight left by the others before me. I look forward to working beside some of you out in the wild.

Welcome aboard! Working on rifle skills may seem a little slow and difficult at first, but I think you will be pleased when you reach the end. Biggest thing to remember is to avoid the 2.5x melee damage multiplier any way you can... Fortunately, the two professions you listed are perhaps the best way to accomplish this. Using a pet to hold aggro for you will be a big help, and being able to switch to a pistol if all else fails is also a life-saving ability.

Even if you consider the rifleman profession to be just a stop on your way to a FSCS, I hope you enjoy the journey... You might just find yourself a profession you want to keep.

I'm actually quite enjoying this so far. I find grinding the xp early to be fairly easy since I send large pet in to hold agro while I stay 45m back. Of course, much like the pistoleer tree it takes a long time once you start getting into it to gain the next level.

My concerns so far is that the T21 is not available on the Radiant server yet. From what I read on here, it is the must have rifle, I think. I could be wrong, but hey, it's only been a few hours

greetings, i am one box away from being a master rifleman and am also on the radiant server. i must say that the T-21 is not that important.

i've been able to level just fine using my trusty lazer rifle... of coure that doesn't mean the devs shouldn't give us the rifle others have enjoyed (and complained about)for so long. anyway good luck to ya!

The T21 isn't essential to playing a Rifleman(woman) . It is still a very good weapon when you factor in the AP3 but you can play very effectively with a Laser Rifle. Starsider didn't have T21's for a long time. And didn't have laser rifles for a fair amount of time either.

The best thing about the T21 is that it is massive and you get people asking you what it is all the time
