Thread: Top Ten Reasons NOT to be a Rifleman (humor)
This is meant to be in good fun, so don't flame me please =) Also, keep in mind that I'm a Wookiee, so Pistols and Carbines aren't really an option - if you don't get that statement, you're not a Wookiee!
10. You get to do twice as much damage as a pistol, but you have to wait 6 times as long!
9. Unless you group with a BH, you're the only one in the group hitting the mind pool, while the action pool drains like crazy from pets, flames, health shots, poisons, etc!
8. You do more damage to your own head than to your opponent's!
7. You're the only ranged weapon class that can't spam specials while buffed, unless you happen to tote along a master entertainer on Krayt hunts!
6. Unless you're lucky enough to play on one of a select handful of galaxies, you don't even get to use your elite weapon - and even then, it blows!
5. 2.5x melee damage! Whee!
4. Your best weapon certification is given at Marksman Rifle 2! From here, there's nowhere to go but sideways!
3. Your "armor piercing" weapons don't pierce armor!
2. You get the only cold and stun weapons in the game - unfortunately, they do less damage than a Scout Blaster!
1. You can't compete with Bounty Hunters for mind damage (Eye Shot) -and they use the Action pool to spam that attack!
I hope you enjoy my little pseudo-rant =) I'm just tired of everyone telling me to "switch to pistols" because our class is so borked!

Im on a neverending search for the best jicI can find...my current is 154-288 at 5.6 seconds. lolI have fun with it.

You guys can get dancer buffs and get some mind reducing cost power ups too.
