I need to know what the fastest rifle is(only going 4/0/0/4 on marksman)? I am a Combat Medic and poisons will no longer incap so I need to do some mind damage. Also if someone can tell me the best damage rifle where speed does not matter (for one shot to bleed and then switch to faster weapon)?

Oh, and as far as best Mind-bleed rifle, get a good T21. You can find stronger Laser Rifles, but they have very poor minimum damage values, so you could fire a mind shot and get a 200 bleed. The min damage on the T21 is 120, so with the damage formula, you should AT WORST get a 270-300 bleed.
Now if you have time to fire multiple Mindshots, then a high-damage laser might be better.

with rifle four in the marksman tree, you can use every rifle except the T21.

Laser is good (but inconsistant) dmg, higher end mind cost and slow(er). you can use powerups to help this.

E11 is good all round dmg/mindcost/speed. might be your best bet for reliable energy dmg.

Jawa rifle, with a powerup for DMG/Mind or Speed/Mind is excellent for dmg and decent for speed+mind. PVP, this is the gun for you as it goes through almost all composite.

Spraystick is the absolute fastest rifle, but innacurate at long distance. deals energy dmg (supposed to be Acid, but it's not). mind cost is relatively high for it's speed, but it does decent dmg when sliced and/or poweredup.

DLT20a is also a good rifle, very low mind cost (especially with a mind powerup) reliable dmg. - it's energy and no armor piercing though, not bad speed.

i'im confused... are you planning to master rifle, or just dabble? ('cause you'll need at least rifleman 1-0-0-0 for bleeds).

anyways, T21 is good for armor piercing mobs + consistant bleeds. slow and heavy ham though.
