Yeah TH said that there is no weapon decay, only clothes and armor. I'm doing backflops as I type. Now I feel stupid about buying 4 new t21's.

While I like this change because it benifits me, if this is true then they just killed the economy. If people only need one rifle forever then once everyone has one weaponsmiths are out of business.

I think he is talking about when you are incapped or killed, not general wear and tear from usage.

Yes, he must mean no decay on death. It doesn't make any sense otherwise.

Thank god, since they already decay so fast w/ powerups and slices. All I can say is phew. Clothes and armor decay is fine with me then. I need a new suit anyways.

Sorry I was so excited that I confused some of you. Its no decay on the incap and death. Its just stays the way it is.

I dont' get this. Armor already has a finite life too..why exempt only Rifles? Anything that already has a built in decay system should be exempted from the decay on death changes.

And this is completely without personal bias I don't wear armor. I just don't understand the difference between armor and weapons in this scenario.

I don't understand it either but I will take what I can get. I think their thinking was that the weaponsmiths wouldn't be able to keep up with the demand for weapons if the decay was implemented. ( It took me a week to find a new T21 that wasn't crap on my server) They didn't remove it for armorsmiths because many people go without any armor at all, and it would be easier for them to keep up with the new demand. Or maybe they needed more help and the weaponsmiths didn't. All I know is that the decay is a great fix for Clothing people.

In my experience I go through rifles like the decay rate is already there, especially with the added decay to sliced and powered up weapons. As for armor, I've been using the same trooper and composite for at least a month or two.

1. No decay for death/incap is a good thing. Sliced and powered-up weapons do decay at enormous rates as is. There is no need to add to this rate by adding more decay.

2. Yes, armor takes damage, but there is no comparison. My T21 starts out with a Condition of less than 900. What condition does armor start with?
