I took all the advice I could scramble and made my macro for the start of battle, please gimme tips on switching em around or anything...

/aim : Gain accuracy for next shot

/flushingshot2 : Stun them

/mindshot2 : Put mind bleed on them

/flurryshot2 : Dizzy

/suppresionshot1 :Lower Position

OOO RAH! : gotta put the OO RAH!

I would not bother putting this in a macro. /Flushingshot2 can put a Stun on them. However, there is no guarantee it will stick. For Defense stackers, it will probably not stick the first time, which means the remaining shots have a lower chance of hitting. The same is true of Flurryshot. There is no guarantee the Dizzy will stick, and you do not want to hit them with Suppressionshot until it does because the posture change could take effect and if it does, they will not get knocked down standing up and you will not be able to apply another posture change for 30 seconds. So a worst case scenario would be that you hit the macro and the following could happen:

Flushingshot does not apply the stun.

Mindshot2, therefore, misses.

Flurryshotmissesand does not apply a dizzy.

Suppressionshot hits and does a posture down. But they stand back up, and you cannot apply another posture change for 30 seconds.

It would be much better to do a macro with /AIM;/Flurryshot2. And fire that or just fire /Flurryshot until the stun sticks. Then fire /Flurryshot2 until they get dizzy. Then hit them with SuppressionFire1.

I would not bother with Mindshot2 unless you expect that the battle is going to last a long time. Also, if you are going to use the bleed, fire both Mindshot2 and Mindshot1. Despite the original reports, they do appear to still stack. So you may want to do a macro that does /Mindshot2;/Mindshot1.

^ is 100% correct. If you link those things together in a macro, you won't be able to stop the macro and, most likely, you will not stick your stun or your dizzy and will end up with lost time and increased frustration. The order of your shots is fine and I'm not saying to not try to stick those shots by adding them by hand to your combat queue, but you're setting yourself up for failure macroing them.

1 trick for hitting defense stackers is to use a macro for ensuring you stick your flushingshot2 (stun) in as few tries as possible. /aim can be stacked 3 times. A macro: /aim; /aim; /aim;flushingShot2 can be helpful against defense stackers. Beyond that, I don't recommend complicated macros.

What they've said is about the best advice for PvP. I've learned that you may want a macro to stack aims for the beginning of combat in PvP, but beyond that it is best to add the shots into the command queue by hand. When I first moved from PvE, I tried using some of my macros and found that the situation changed too quickly in PvP leaving me with the wrong shots queued up for the situation.

Yep, what they said. I generally have macro's for all those shots but keep them seperate and the macro just fires them twice, ie.

/flushingshot2;

/flushingshot2;

Remember in PvP you don't want to commit to anything, because nothing ever goes as planned.
