Currenlty I'm killing mokks/jantas. If I kill the lair I usually have to use burst speed because they catch up to me while I still have 1/4 of the lair left. Also using damage sliced on the lair and overchargeshot. Any way to kill the lair faster without having 5 mokks getting me?

Get a pet with decent Kinetic Resist. Send the pet against one of the Mokks, or even the lair itself. When all of them jump in to try to kill the pet, target the lair and blast away with your highest AOE attack.
It is crucial that you are at the right distance. All of the enemies have to be within 64m.
A disclaimer: I haven't actually tried this on mokks, per se, but I have done this with many nasties such as rancor.

I kill mokk and janta all the time. By far the easyist way is to hs3 all the npc then swop to a disposable weapon add a damage pup and spamm strafe 2 at the lair. Should take about 3-4 mins this way as most npc for mokk and janta do survive more than 5 hs3.

It's faster to kite with strafeshot2. I'll try using that against the base.
Thanks guys.

if you have SS2, there's no reason to use HS3.
anyway, I have a feeling the poster isn't a master rifle w/ss2. sounds like he's trying to make money by bashing the lairs without killing the mokk's, which we'd kill for loot purposes alone. He also specifically mentions using overcharge shot, which no Master I know uses.
to the original poster:
check the timestamps on your attacks. you can deal more damage with a speed sliced weapon if your attacks are slow. if you're the enterprising type, figure out your DPS (damage per second) by spamming 5 attacks with a damage sliced gun, calculating the average, then repeating with a speed sliced gun and calculating the average. unless you're close to the speed cap, faster attacks will give you higher DPS than damage sliced guns.
