Thread: Fastest way to master from 2,2,2,2???

if you have another master profesion like tkm or swordsman or something you could get all the combat xp tree first, way faster rifle speed. and i recomend geo caves, i mastered rifleman there in a couple of days

You should have gone up the sniping line first. More accuracy mean you hit more, thus increasing your xp. Finish the line that gives you accuracy first, then choosing between the other 2 is kinda a toss up.

Can anyone help me out? I'm wanting to know what the quickest way to Rifleman master is starting w/ the skills 2,2,2,2. I'm a casual gamer, play 2 or 3 times a week for 2 or 3 hrs(ish).


I've been working on Rifleman for about 2 months now, not including the month my comp was down. I assume I'm not hunting the right critters because I here ppl talk about mastering in a few days, yes I realize those are the hard core gamers, but they obviously know something I don't.


If anyone can shed some light on the subject it would be greatly appreciated! thanks!!

Get counter-sniping 3 so you have flushing shot 2 which is a area of affect attack, then speak to your local droid engineer and get him to make you a LE-Repair droid with one combat module and 2 auto repair modules and buya crate of droid stims, this droid should haveabout 6k ham and the ability to repair itself. Take your new droid of to dantoinne choose huurton stalker missions, they are allways 10.2k payout so are easy to find.Getthe droidto attack the lair while you use flushing shot 2 from 60 meters away on the lair and all the creatures, all the huurton should attack the droid while you take them all down for an easy 70k xp from each lair. Then go up the sniping line for accuracy.


I've heard that the squil cave has a very high spawn rate now so that also may be good for xp if you havefriend who can tank for you

Mine was about 30k but it depends on the server, I also had to wait a couple of days for them to make it as a custom order, but some may make them as general stock now

Hardcore gamer here. Took me about 2 and a half days from novice ( I.E = had novice box ) to master. How I did it.



Prevous post was correct. For working riflemen, maxed Combat XP before starting is a highly effiecent way to begin. 3 boxes in speed right after training novice riflemen is a huge help.



Get to know an entertainer. Doc buffs are easy enough, but entertainer buffs are harder. I only say this becuase now with pub9 changes, your going to 3want them. Reason : armor delay. Even with EITHER 2 brandy OR entertainer buffs in you, a normal set of hunting composite will still eat about 41 mind a shot. When trying to be as fast and effeicent as possible, this cuases downtime to regen. With entertainer buffs AND 2 brandy in you, your set.



Location : Dantooine.


Start on : Quankers. NOT anything harder. These guys have a mission payout of about 5000 - 5200 credits. Get yoursself in the largest solo group you can. The less baby and more pops per lair the better.



Although you have skills already I will tell you how I did it.



2,0,0,? first


(? = whenever you can )


then 2,4,0,?,



2,4,2,?



3,4,2,?


3,4,3,?


4,4,3,?


4,4,4,?



Master



At some point in that you will notice quankers drop from 3k + xp to 2k + xp each. Now its time to pull Huurton huntress missions. These guys are harder but you can still do them with decent hunting armor and ent/doc/brandy buffs. They also give more XP then the quankers.



BEWARE ofSavage Quankers and Quanker Relic Reapers. Savage quankers will eat through your amor and are not as time/XP effecient as normal ones. Relic Reapers will poison you, and have been known to dizzy/posturedown. If you see one of these, you pulled the wrong type. Back off.



Way to do them. Start by going prone and HS3'ing them. Dont worry about mind bleed, there is no reason. There might be however if your not up to at least box3 in speed. Dunno. When ( and if heh ) they get to you, dont panic shot kneel and shoot. You will be fine and thier xp is nuts . .



6 per pop at 3 times pop lair quankers = Apprx. 60k rifle XP per lair ( before thier XP drops )


With huurton Huntesses = Approx. 85k+ rifle XP per lair.

geo cave top room + disruptor rifle + flushing 2 (0030) = mastering rifle in a day.

Thanks for the help guys!


I've seen a couple diff. post about what line to go up first (i.e. 4,0,0,?) or (1,3,1,?).


Just curious as to what your resoning was behind the different routes.
