NS Sentinels are weak to energy and drop very nice loot
Its really only Protectors and Spellweavers that are an issue for rifles

Rifles with Kinetic or Blast Damage???
Can't seem to find any that do these two types of damages.
Thanks for the help!

no, and there's no electric rifle either. tusken and lithitanium rifles were kinetic at one point, but were stealth-nerfed to energy and the devs lied and said it was never kinetic when we asked about it.

You should do a proffesion that fills that gap. For instance, I am a Rifleman/Swordsman. So since we don't have a blast or kinetic damage rifle, I use a PowerHammer or Scythe. I think that's the best way around problems like this. You could really do any of the brawler professions for kinetic but I'm pretty sure only Swordsman has blast other than Commando. And Some NSs have resistance to Kinetic as well, so i think this combo is the best for PvE. Just my 2 cents...

I agree with Aurok. I am currently a master rifleman/swordsman/brawler and I float between novice medic and scout with my remaining skill points. I find this combination very nice for PvE. It allows you to solo pretty much any NS plus the ablility to attack the mind with both rifles and two-hand weapons is very handy. I like the ability to use intimidate2 as well from master brawler.
Thx,
Shammus

Doesnt the Tuskan Kings Rifle (from the Krayt Skull Quest) do Kinetic damage? Yeah, I know its garbage, but I thought it still had a Kin damage type.

the tusken king rifle is kinetic but even master rifleman isn't cert for it.
funny to shoot it using strafe 2 and seeing a whoping 44 float over a gubber's head.

I am a TKM/MasterRifleman, the only sister's i have trouble with, or had rather, were elder's. That was because they have 100% kinetic resistance.
There are some considerations though. Even though it says 100% resistance, they do take a small portion of any damage (resistance does not equal immunity) that you deliver. Consider Jedi, they have been fighting with K damage weapons all along, albiet very powerful K damage weapons.
The other thing is i can use a berzerker (heat damage) which is very effective with elders.
The last time i fought one, my friend who is a doc/swordsman tanked her. And i spammed headshots, she ended up losing her mind and we got the kill. All the other babes (protectors, spell-weavers, whatever) are all weaker than elder's i:e:, any MR with melee abilities, either yours or a buddy's, should be able to handle a night sister. Particularly since the more powerful ones usually come in singles or doubles. Not like the rangers or hunters which seem to aggroe in numbers.
Just my personal observations.
