Wayne,
Sorry to see you go. It was always a pleasure seeing your posts here. And I believe you are probably one of the last of the original posters on this boards. You will be missed.
Best of luck in your endevours. And most importantly have fun with what you are doing.

I don't recognize most of the names here on the Rifleman forum any more. And it looks like a lot has changed since I last visited. It appears Waste has turned the reins of leadership over to Ackhece, and though I didn't follow the decision process, I do know Ackhece and know that he will definitely serve the Rifle community well! Congrats, Ackhece!
This message was prompted by a post from Issik on the Eclipse board looking for me. Made me realize I really should let my old friends here on the forum know what is going on.
As one of the oldest Master Riflemen on Eclipse, I once lived on this board. Most of my post total came here. During my heyday here, and thru several changes of leadership, I was asked several times by various people to run for Correspondent. I think it would have been a job I would have loved dearly, but i always declined because I am a family man and I already took too much time away from them. Not sure I would ever have been chosen anyway, as I have had my differences of opinions with the devs before.
Anyways... I wanted to post to let my old friends know what had become of me. I did complete the long grind to Jedi using my rifle skills. But the grind took its toll, and I lapsed into a deep case of "burn out". After years of weilding the power of a Master Rifleman, I couldn't bring myself to grind thru the lower levels of Jedi to reach an end game I'm not even sure I wanted. I had decided my Alt would be Master Doc to support my Jedi, but after making it to 3442, I found myself bored with that also. I was logging on less and less and playing shorter amounts of time. And finally, my son began playing another popular MMORPG and wanted me to play with him. Time.... such a valuable commodity!
The bottom line is I will probably not be back... but I am not 100% certain yet.. obviously I still have my account for now.
So many of my friends had left also. I think that is what hurt the most. Obsin, Kezia, Setzer, Alphatobias, Ogikode, and scores of others with whom I shared danger and excitement. I have played the last yearmainly with Targon and Jibesh... both excellent friends.I keep in touch with them outside of this game.
So it is with a heavy heart that I post what is probably my final Rifleman post. Salute to my oldest friends that I knew only through these forums, and I bow to those of you who are carrying on this great profession. I will miss all of you should I not return.
(And last but not least: Somebody already has my stuff! ...LOL)

I think it was down to Wayne and I...

Sad to see you go bro. Every time the Coro job came up, you was ALWAYS in my top 3. Almost made me want to start an eclipse toon!!
Best of luck in all future endeavours, in the gaming world and otherwise.
