It looks like accuracy bonus/penaltiesfor posture are gone so whatwill different postures mean? Will it have an affect for LOS only or what?

I see postures and LOS as some of the most interesting aspects of the CU. Well at least if done correctly. If onlyyour head are visible to hit then this should affect how hard you are to hit. I would prefer a system where how much you are exposed have an effect on how difficult you are to hit rarther than the current system with bonus for postures.

Question is if and how this is implemented. Also I think that targeted attacks like head shot should help youy when hitting a target partially in cover. For example:

Target take cover behind a rock with only the head visible. To be able to hit you need to hit the head. You should have to use a headshot or a random attack if it happened to hit the head. Or at least should have a much smaller chance to hit than usually.

I think that random attacks shoudl generally have a higher accuracy bonus than a targeted attack like a head shot, nut the headshot should instad have a lower chance to hit but when succsful it will always hit that part. Seems that head shot is like that.

I also think that you should get an accuracy bonus for postures like today.

from looking through the tree, it would seem we have to be prone to use the cover skill , and we have to be in cover to use the conceal shot.

My guess is we also have to be at least kneeling if not prone to use snipershot, which , and its also just an opinion, will be our most powerful attack at master.

from a PvP perspective, posture up will be the thing that hurts us most, forcing us out of cover, or stopping us firing the big hit specials (which will undoubtably have both long warm up and cool down).

In effect, rifleman will become there own worst enemy, and using posture up attacks to prevent opponents riflemen from using the damage specials will be an important tactic.

I have one thing to say about kd recovery, it is very , very useful.

We have very limited skills in test at the minute, that is for sure ut at 4004, I dueled my guildmate, the TK correspondant, just to see the effects of LOS and the movement encumbrance.

Whilst it turned into a stalemate because we have such low damage, the fact we have a button to get up from a kd did stop it from becoming an endless kd/dizzy spam special effort.

In fact, the mellee strike kd we get was very useful to hit him with , then run to put some distance between us.
the movement speed difference is very noticable, although until we get the elite level skills I cant make any full judgements.

Will the KD recovery allow you to recover even if dizzy? IMO KD is not a big deal if you are not dizzy

I tried to just stand and I couldnt, but got straight up using kd recovery, so it seems just kd means much more than it used to.

Until someone can get a dizzy attack we cant tell, but we have the curestate specials sprinkled around the skill trees too.

My initial thoughts are that Pvp will actually be something that requires tactics now, and oncethe new AI is in, I think high end PvE will be the same, Im pretty sure a ns or krayt close enough to us to hit will mean a quick death.

I hope all those Tk's are going to learn how to taunt well

We have a dizzy recovery in our elite trees. So no KD recovery won't work against dizzy but it will work with our dizzy recovery.

One thing I don't like about CU is that they have removed the state defense skill mods. I think this removed a lot of the customization options we had. I like to collect good SEA to improve your character. After CU there seems to be very few stats left. Well there might be dizzy/KD defenses etc but they are not in the skill trees
