Just got Flurryshot2 (I'm really starting to hate combat XP), are there any shots other than Strafe1 (which doesn't seem to work particularly well anyways) that we can use to force posture changes on standing opponents?
Seems like Flush2, Startle2 & Strafe2 are all force-up AE's, are there no force-down AE's?

Only area force down from a ranged weapon is under the Carbineer tree, I believe. I think that's Suppression Fire 2.
There's nothing that does it under rifle for sure, though.

marksmen ranged weapon support has suppression fire1. there is no posture down attack in rifle tree.

Suppression1 in the rifle combat abilities tree is the best bet. You can get in with only a modest amount of combat xp.
Alot of NPCs with ranged attacks will kneel/prone on you though, so you may not need to force a change all the time. Use their posture change against them.

The only one that will move a creature to a lower posture is Flurry 1/2, and that is if you manage to make them dizzy.
Strafe 1/2 removes cover.
Flushing 1/2 raises posture and stuns.
Startle 1/2 raises posture.
