Why don't we give riflemen that great combat move, smashing your opponent's face in with the stock?

Something for, when the MOB warps in on you, and your accuracy takes the big dive to firing opposite the target. Give thema quick smack with the back of your boom stick, and scurry out to range to be able to hit the target decently.

Of course, such a move may lead to people re-enacting parts of Midnight Run in the middle of Mos Eisley....

Actually a more realistic ability would be an "elite elite" / hybrid skill box. You would need to get novice pikeman and novice rifleman to open this box (I dont know where it would be attached on the tree). It will grant you the bayonette ability effectively turning your rifle into a good melee weapon and giving you a headslash attack or somesuch. But this will never be implemented, and really it shouldnt be. After all if you want to be good upclose you shouldnt be using a rifle. MP's did that in the 60's because dropping a rifle next to a pissed off hippie in order to billyclub him isnt a good idea.

Or you can grind Pistoleer and get Pistolwhip, you have 158 skill points free after mastering rifleman.

Also, once you get Strafe2, you don't need a KD move, you will have an incap move .

lol, go back to the pistoleer boards and take a look, Pistoleers get KD moves and many more, yet they are some of the biggest whiners around. If I remember correctly even your sorrespondant was saying that he was not happy about the fact that a pistoleer with a pistol could not take down anyone... after all you are the masters of pistols...

right... I died all those times cause I'm just sooooooooooo uber. If you liked it so much why ARE you "grinding" pistol? This makes no sense.
