I now am able to become a smuggler if I want but I am not sure, there seem to be so many reasons as to why not to be but I am looking for good reasons to become a smuggler. I am almost thinking that Pistoleer might even be better. Any opinions or thoughts?

Unless you get excited by slicing and faking your own death over and over again (heh I do) then I'd suggest you choose something else, at least till they add the stuff to smuggler.

Ok, i'm a 2 0 1 1 rifleman but also am a pistoleer currently. I need to make a choice. I've heard that rifleman stink till they hit master where they are superior to pistoleer and that pistoleer is far more superior during the learning stages. Can anyone here tell me if its worth the grind to be a Master Rifleman? Is there a nerf going to happen to rifleman? Can I expect this profession to get better or worse?

We aren't broken, we are operationally challenged. If you are looking for the MSL badge I would do it now rather than later because who knows how the combat balance/sl revamp will affect our xp progression.
