Are they soloable?, having doc/rifleman/nov brawler (for intimidate), can i kill those buggers by myself or do i need to get a tank?

Get some good armor and keep it intimidated you will easily be able to solo it.

yes with that template, but it will not be long until you become the tank for someone else

Anything but an ancient should be pretty easy for you.

no need to tank them if you have 3000 scout you can just run around with them chasing you. After the inital speed burst they are very slow

But, if you run them to far from the spawn point they will poof! gone.

as long as you are still shooting and don't peace, they don't poof. i got board last night, so i almostkited an ancient krayt on foot to mos entha.about 800 meter shorts before i die.
