okay, just want some clarification, this skill tape, it would be a hinderance or a bonus to my skills as a rifleman. I've never used skill tapes before, so I don't know if there are "bad" skill tapes out there.
I do a ctrl+s and see that we get +'s to speed, and this here say -1? If this is a henderance...why? To catch some guy like me that doesn't know?
Just wanting to know from some of you better riflemen out there that might have these skilltapes.
Thanks

Its for other clothes like for example a looted Sunguard with
Riflespeed +8
Unarmed Damage +8
If you wanted the Unarmed damage you would put the -1 Riflespeed in it, its of no use to rifle men but can be INCREIBLY usefull to other people

actually, these are completly useless, what your saying is actually not tru sry to say, if the mod is already on the clothes it is there forever

No only 1 will stick, now which one is up for debate. Some say the first one listed others say it goes alphabetical, eitherway only 1 will stick not both. I cant say which will because I have never tried it with the attachs.

im almost 100% sure it's highest #, then if both are the same, it goes alphabetically if it is a SEA, CA or AA
With looted items all mods work

Clothing that has bonuses give all bonuses. SEA's and Armor attachments are the things that only give you one bonus if there are multiples on it.
For example, if you have an SEA with rifle speed +5 and unarmed damage +4, only one of those is going to stay once it is put into a socket.
Does that clear it up? I don't know how to figure out which bonus on any given SEA will stay and which will poof, though.

croft is right - thats if it gets into the item - i tested it just incase it had somebenefits and it just gets used and doesnt even take up a socket - another peice of crap SOE cant be bothered to sort out
