Hi I just got novice rifles and like the proff. But it takes forever to solo anything I dont know how people pull off the 4 day crap. Any Ideas on what and where to kill or on what tree I should go up first.

i mastered in 3 days here's how. Get buffed, get brandy, get ahrisha, get 80% kinetic armor, get into a solo group on dat, kill queckers like mad, when you reach box 4 in a skill, switch to hurton stalkers. Use a good speed sliced/pup's t21. Target tthe quecker lair and spam pointblank area1, and you'll master in no time.

What he said, except after I hit 4/0/0/4 I went after the NPC's on lok. Corsairs and Pirates, they attackat a distanceand dont run into melee range where we are less accurate.
Good loot too, I got a +5 rifle speed attachment while grinding. ![]()

Here's where I'm confused. I was going up the sniping tree until people started saying go up the counter-sniping tree. Which is better? Sniping tree for more accuracy and conceal improvements or counter-sniping for Startle Shot 2 (I think that's the shot in the 3rd box)?

It's a difficult question of which tree to go up. Countersniping has great defensive benefits, and getting Flushing Shot 2 will make getting exp for the other trees a ton easier. Earlier at fort tusken, I used a Flushing 2 in a room with 2 Tusken Captains and a Raider in it. One of the captains took 5200 damage, the others took over 4000 each. All got stunned. This was with a 485-max T21.

If you want to do it fast follow this. Oh and by the way. When I was grinding professions I went from Novice to Master in 1 long day. At any rate. Headshot 3 is the key to doing this fast. If you have any combat xp use it on abilities asap as speed is very important. Head to Dant get in a solo group and run 7100-7200Savage Quenchers missions. These guys have a ranged attack which works great for a rifleman. They also do not deathblow. First work on Sniping until you get headshot 3. Then focus on Concealment up to conceal 3. At this level you get ranged damage mitigation 2 which limits the amount of ranged damage you take. Remember train in abilities whenever you have eough combat xp built up for more speed. At this point I was 2/3/0/2. I then focused back on sniping. Once I was 4/3/0/3 I started working on Counter sniping until I was 4/3/3/4. At this point take your pick to finish. The advantage torunning solo group missions is thatthe level 99 savage quencher missions will give you40-60k xp per mission. I hope this helps.

both are great to go along with rifle(block mods with one, headshots with the other)- if you plan to hunt high level content the swordsmen model is your better bet. But if you plan to pve and pvp it might be better to go with pikeman
