How many attachments will I need, will I need all +25? Also, does the force ranged speed affect the cap?

force ranged speed is non-effective at best with only a 12%increase in speed when working correctly and reports are that it is broken altogether atm

you need +7

or master marksman and +2

actually if the FS ranged speed skill works like the melee speed skill it is a direct increase - if you do the entire ranged speed column you will cap as a master and be very close to speed cap as a submaster

the problem is that currently the ranged speed skills do not work.

btw: speed cap is discussed in the newb rifle man faq (referenced in my sig) ^_^

wrong.

it does work as a 12% increase on your final weapon special delays calculation, not a direct stackable mod to your weapon speed(s).

and btw, ranged speed is as you said slightly broken, and currently only has any effect if you also have (some) melee speed aswell

No it doesnt, do some homework. The FS ranged speed acts just like a sea, so +12 would be a +12 to your speed not a +12%. Where are you people getting this?

FS Ranged Speed mods presently are broken. They should act as a SEA's and be a direct increase. However currently FS Melee mods are working for all weapons including ranged weapons.

As for the original question. Technically you would need a total speed mod of +100 to cap. You can generally cap with a total of +97 as that caps at weapon speed 9.52 or lessbut there are some looted weapons with higher base speeds.
