Thread: Whats best way to RIFLEMAN/RANGER/CREATURE HANDELER

I want to make a Mater rifleman/ranger/ creature handeler. I dont need all the stuff in ranger. All i want is wayfaring and the harvestinf one. I want to be as good in Ch as i can, and have to have Master rifleman. What would be the best way to go? I have told you alot, but like what to do im ch and if you think wayfaring and harvesting are all i need in ranger.

I would think you'll want Tracking from Ranger too, but that depends on what you want to do with this template I guess. You're looking for PvE only it seems? High-end or just regular? Any PvP at all or not? That will help us help you better I think

Ok, so you've got MR, and Ranger 4/0/4/0(turns out harvesting and tracking are the same branch, so that works out well
). That leaves 47 skill points.
It seems to me(though I may be off a bit here) that the best way of putting those into CH would be 4/3/0/4. That gives you +65 Taming Wild Creatures and +35 Taming Vicious Creatures, the ability to call 2 pets at once, 12 stored pets, and a max pet level of 43(or 2 pets of level 21 or lower). Seems the Arachne Warrior(level 42, Light AR, 30% Kinetic/Energy resists) would be your best possible pet. Then again, BEs can make some nasty creatures now, so perhaps that's the best route. Ask a BE if you happen to know one orcheck in the BEforum for more info.
I'm not sure if FS bonuses are of much interest to you, but if you feel like working on any of those, this template leaves you with 1 remaining skill point(1 FS box). You can add more, but that will result in you having to give up some other skills(likely from the 2nd CH branch).
We do have a few Rifleman/CHs around here too, so they'll likely be able to add more than I.

Wayfaring gives you:
Box 1: +40 camo, cor/naboo/tat camo kits, and /conceal (which allows you to use all the camo kits)
Box 2: +10 burst run, +20 terr nego, rori/talus camo kits
Box 3: +40 camo, yavin/dant camo kits
Box 4: +10 burst run, +20 terr nego endor/lok camo kits
the terr nego at +50 goes towards crawl speed... you'll be over this at novice ranger...
the burst run, well you really won't need to run that far in a burst...
the + to camo works the same as the + to maskscent... opinons of the camo kits vary, some say maskscent breaks less than the camo kits do...
if you wanna use the camo kits then going over the third box gives you no real bonus... so i'd use those 2 SP in CH 4/4/0/4... or go with 1/0/4/0 ranger and 4/4/1/4 CH, just buy all your camo kits...
now the +to harvesting... is great for mass harvesting... add in some +harvesting food and you'll bring in alot of resources...
i'd suggest trying out 4/0/4/0 ranger and 4/3/0/4 CH... if you don't like the camo kits, then drop the line its all thats really in it thats worth having...
my fav template was MCH/MRifles/ ranger 0/0/3/0... i can find all npcs and creatures, with directions to them the +10 to harvesting you lose isn't all that much if you use a good droid and some food...
