Can someone explain simply the speed changes coming?

Will there be a minimum speed possible, and will that be able to be enhanced by powerups?

If not, are speed slices now worthless?

The proposedchanges mean that you will be able to shoot no rifle faster than 1 shot per 3 seconds.

The speed slice thing depends on what level of rifle you are at, speed slices are almost worthless to a master rifleman even now.

Will it be the same for all weapons?

Nope, first they said pistols would be 0.5 seconds per shot, then they said this might be too fast so it could stay at 1 second per shot.

Melee weapons willrange from 1 second for a fencing weaponto 3 seconds for a pike weapon.

omfg, another slap to the face to Rifleman, and a leg up to everyone else.

So does it eliminate the need to master rifle? Isn't that the biggest bonus from mastering it? Speed?
