I don't really care for how faction points are given when someone is deathblowed.
I have been in a few small skirmishes lately and have yet to recieve any faction points for my efforts.
This happens because I am generally the furthest away from the actuall combat and never get the chance to DB someone.
So even though I do a large part of the dmg (most of the time I am the one that incaps someone) because I am far away due to our accuracy modifiers other people just run up and do the DB and get the FP.
I find this highly irritating, does this happen alot to other Rifleman?

Sniper shot is your friend. I suspect if I wanted to, I could get double the amount of DBs any other classcould in a big battle. But before I got sniper shot I hardly got any DBs.

Sniper shot is awesome. First time I PvPed with it I picked up 200 fp. I usually pick up the DBs from people incapped and no one is nearby to db them. It works well.

Ya I love that shot, I sit back at 60 away and pick a target and fire but keep tabbing looking to see if any one is abotu to fall and then when they do snip um and piss of the commandos and BH and pistol users.... its a lil pay back

Yep, it's my favorite skill from rifleman. Even if I do end up dropping rifle because of nerfs I'm thinking I'll keep sniper shot.

either im the most unlucky guy in swg or snipershots miss-rate is borked. i miss about 50% of my snipershots regardless of range.

I think the miss rate is over the top, but I don't see anywhere close to 50%.

honestly i almost always miss my 1st shot on snipershot. somewhere in forums i read that the to-hit-chance of the 1 st shot initiated in combat is fubared and perhaps this applies to snipershot too because technically once your opponent is incapped you are out of combat.

Strange... I've never missed a snipershot (knock-on-wood)...
