Thread: Crawling Rifleman have to go

SWG already hasd the slowest moving characters in any online game without the weapon encumberance. I can not believe you expect us to put away our weapons in order to run at what already is a horrid slow run.

I find running so BORING and SLOW and TEDIOUS that I just get fed up and log out after a short while of play. My crafters can now run faster than my RANGER....a ranger with bonuses for terrain???????? All because my ranger likes to take a weapon along to kill the mobs.

IF you really feel the need to add that stupid encumberance....then please speed up the basic run of the characters. I can not imagine why anyone thought they had to add weapon encumberance to the CU????? Makes no sense and just makes the game less enjoyable.

Movement encumberance is only on ranged weapons, and it was supposed to give melee a better chance of catching up to a ranged opponent.

Makes sense, from a game balance perspective, but I completely agree with the original poster that movement in general could use a boost.

lag and latency issues prevent this. If you desire it to work we have to go back to that hideous superstop and go movement that was universally hated. I prefer slow rather then sick.

Ithink terrain negotiation should modify overall speed not just up hills but also on flat land.
