Thread: Cover Shot and Conceal Shot DO NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- What planet are you on and what type of terrain are you on? LOS is a major factor with the rifleman. A top of a hill, abig rock, an inclinecan kill our LOS.
- Make sure you are at least 30M from the nearest MOB. Some people say 20M I say don't chance it espically if you are going after "big game".
- Go Prone and wait a sec. Then hit /cover. Wait a sec then try /conceal shot. With riflemanpatience is a virtue.
Try these and let us knowif it works. I haven't had a problem since Patch 18 so this may be new with Patch19.

I haven't had a problem yet. I've pulled off cover with creatures 20m away. Not very often. Had /maskscent on too, that may have helped.
Must be prone to use /cover, /concealshot and /snipershot.
Definately make sure your speeder, pets, droids, anything like that are not near you. They will prevent you from cover. If you are near other peoples speeders you won't be able to cover.
And I also have found waitinga bitfrom going under cover to fireing a conceal shot, and between conceal shots, to help keep cover.
I finally tried the cover/conceal last night on Kash. The only time I had a problem was when my group would get close to me. They would start out 30m+ away and I wouldn't have a problem with cover, but as they walked towards me, they would reveal me... Basically it took me staying off of roads/trails and finding a place up on a hill, somewhere where they (or others players)wouldnt likely go. Getting on the sides of hills worked out the best, although it did look silly. 
Other than that it worked beautifully!
