I looked at it yesterday after the patch and it still says M Rifleman (This one atleast)
Weird checked mine and it says MC, mine was in my inventory. Did u have in it a house?

Mine was looted b4 the patch. So some might have changed but not all it seems.

You have GOT to be kidding me, right? So which DEV is going to pay me back the 2 million I spent on one of these as a Master Rifleman which will now be WORTHLESS to me with a carbineer cert. Does anyone even think of these things when they make changes? If a weapon says one cert on it how can you then change the rule on it AFTER it's in the game like this? If you want future looted ones to have a different cert on them, fine, but ones that are already in the game? I often wonder who is now running this ship............
Ok you paid two million for a Carbine certed at master rifleman and didnt pause to think that was a bug? I hope you were being sarcastic otherwise i have to wonder whos running your ship

Oh please. Like there are not various weapons in the game certed to different professions? I have a rifle in my inventory only certed to a Master Squad Leader. Another one only certed to a Master Bounty Hunter. And yet a third only certed to a Master Commando. So why is it so strange that a ranged weapon they label a carbine can't be certed to a Master Rifleman? What exactly determines a carbine from a rifle anyway? Other than the range reduction on most carbines they seem to almost do about the same damage now. Who am I to judge if they want to let a rifleman cert to a carbine. Maybe actually adding variety to the game? There are other carbines I can fire effectively, heck, my Nym's carbine with Kinetic and Acid damage is a great weapon when I want something other than energy.
So don't judge me and tell me I should have known that was a bug. How is a label/cert placed on a weapon actually a bug anyway? It's basic code. Some dev had to sit there coding out that weapon and say ok, this is being labeled a carbine, but bah, I am going to code it for a Master Rifleman.
As someone who has been in this game since beta it's just "bugs" like this that bother me. Why? Because it drives people out of and away from the game. We had a big influx of folks joining SWG due to the hype of the movie that hit theaters in May. But guess what, there are no more Star Wars movies coming out to save us! If we continue to lose people from the game at the rate we lost peopel previously it will be a disaster. Suddenly we will all have to decide if we want to play a game with so few players in it. A great example is an account purge. Wonder why we have never had one? Heck, we have houses still up in our city that have been around since the first 6 months of this game and that person has not played since. An account purge would wipe the landscape clean of so many structures people would finally realize just how many folks have left this game. About 1/2 the player cities on most planets would disappear. And people would start second guessing things.
I just feel as a long term dedicated SWG player that the days of having bug infested patches and content need to come to and end. We don't have many more chances here to keep folks in the game. No more movies to save us. And "bugs" like having the wrong certs on weapons are just not excusable. Come on, basic coding.
Ok, I will stop ranting. Fact is I could care less about the 2 million, it's chump change, but I do care about SWG and the longevity of our game and for that I can get upset.
