Greetings fellow Rifleman, well the day finally came for me last night (11:14 pm Korea time) when my goal was finally realized and I saw the blessed "You now qualify for the skill Master Sharpshooter". I took screen shots of course. First off for those doing to grind, until they nerf us, it is so worth it, you will not be disapointed, Second I know a lot of people don't like using pets and talk about doing it solo, more power to you. But for me, I did it drug free, no muon gold, no dancer buffs, no puking, no downers, just me and my GSP which I affectionately named Panzer for the tank that he is. So whatever way you choose to make master, go for it, it's good to be the king.

congrats man. I'm doing it pet free, and so far drug free (but certianly not entertainer buff free!)

the pet makes it super easy

drugs you have to pay for and still dont offset lots of your disadvantages

having something take all the damage for you while you sit safely by and kill the mob is a serious advantage

Well you could talk about the time it takes to train your pet(if you did, or if you just buy it-different if you are actually a CH), personally I roll-play with my pet, it is part of my character, while a friend of mine likes to roll-play that he is addicted to spice. They are all advantages over a normal grind, and as anyone who has made the trek can tell you, it is never super easy. The main point of course is what is fun for you, so play the game the way you want and make the character you want, its all good.

if i used pets while traveling up, i wouldve had it at least a month earlier, its just too simple that way, besides i will not fall so low as to use pets

it just sickens me when i go on a raid and i spend more time fighting pets than actually fighting players...

it sickens me when im mind buffed on focus and willpower and mind and im out in the field taking out enemies left and right... 6 dead in a row.. only to be taken down by some **edit** pet whose owner is long gone to the cloning center that hits me for 2.5x melee and theres nothing i can do cause my hams are all drained already...

if they removed pets for just one freaking day... rifleman would be god of the galaxies... commandos and bhs do nowhere near the dps we can do... man to man barely anyone can ever take me down in a solid fight... ive got awesome weapons.. its always the pets.. always the pets /shakeshead

i dont know why you guys hate on ch'rs so much. this is one of the best combos in the game for PvE and not too shabby for PvP either. you dont want a pet, dont get a pet. however they are a part of the game and not goin anywhere. sack up soldiers!

Heh heh, didn't mean to start another anti-pet rant but too late. Pets: the natural choice, just say NO to drugs kids. But seriously Rifleman/CH is combo that makes a lot of sense and is very effective. Of course though, play the game the way you want to play.

My graul mauler absolutely helped me get to master. Without if I would be grinding for months if not close to a yr as I'm not a power gamer. I see nothing wrong with it. Yes it is an advantage, but so what? Anyways you have to heal your pet that is soaking up all the damage instead of healing yourself and making tons of long runs from the cloning center. Who likes doing that? Not me....I love my pets and I find CH a very fun line to pursue as a supplement to rifleman. Running around deep on backwater planets hunting for elusive babies has provided me a boatload of good times and has helped me grind CH, rifle and med skills all at the same time. Pets are cool.....please feel free to flame away.

My kingdom for a Droid that would do what you guys do with pets.

And once DE are able to make an assasin/combat droid (which probably isnt far off from what i've heard) will ppl still complain that everyone who uses one as a tank that they're just as bad as pets?

I was out Imp hunting the otherknight with my pet beetle by the name of Fear (non ch). We have had many grand adventures together. We will take out any imp attacking a Rebal base if at all possible. We did track and discover 4 imps attacking a base and although way outgunned I could not allow this atrocity, Fear took off after one of the offenders and I smacked one with flurry and suppression, he was a pistoleer and resisted the dizzy. Then one of his comrads sent one of those tough hided Endorian pigs after me and took me out with 2 hits that equaled about 2200 points of damage combined. So there I lay, with myFear incapped as well, helpless and watching as they destoyed the noble Rebel defenders.Then to have my assailant come over and gracefullybow before slitting myneck and sending me back to Anchor. First thought was "Stupid CH pig, if it was not for any of these pets I might of had em". Next thought, "haha, I got owned by a pig, I either need to pick up CH and get a GSP or... Suck it up and not attack a group of 4 imps with a pig". Its all about knowing your skills and picking your fights, I could have walked away and found easier prey, but I wanted the challenge and paid for it. Use what you got and dont whine when you lose, we all have choices in this universe so dont cry when you get owned forwhatever reason.

Oh yeah, sorry, Congrats on making Master, that is very cool, I'm at 3,2,3,2 and cant wait to be where you are, but I am enjoying the ride and the spice.
