Thread: Help with a template?

I'm sorry to ask this, but I'm fairly useless when it comes to working out templates. Can anyone help me out with a template for soloing krayts, allowing for the fact that I have Master Weaponsmith? I'm posting in the rifleman forum because I'm fairly sure that it's going to include Master Rifleman, but everyone keeps telling me different things so i can't decide where to spend the rest of my points.

I dont really hunt Krayts, but I'm fine with my Master Rifle/ Master Doc temp.

Master Rifleman/Master Carbineer/Master Marksman/Pistoleer 4403


use your best rifle, then snare/root thenWarning shotandCharge Shot(KnockDown)+Adv. Startle shot+leg shot then use ranged+leg shot combo, then repeat the snare and the KD combo when the anger time goes off then back to the ranged shot+leg shot combo, the key is to keep the krayt as close to your max range as possible


with the right foods and a good SAC reduction PUp you will have alot of action to work in extra shots

as long as you have a snare, kd and root you are set, krayt solo'ing should bea breeze. I have mbh/mrifles/0003pistoleer and i can take them fine.

just remember not to get to close those krayts hit hard. Some times to much for a doc or CM to handle.

Assuming you're keeping Master Weaponsmith, and hunting krayts for the tissue to make yourself guns of course


Master Weaponsmith

Master Rifleman

Master Marksman

Pistoleer 0-0-0-3



The Pistoleer gives you improved stopping shot, which is pretty much a must. Especially if those krayts get to close to you.

After that, you have 20 Skill Points. You could go with one more line in Pistols and finish off the 4th line, eg, 4-0-0-4. But you will get more general speed and accuracy bonus out of Master Marksman, so I feel that is your best option.

I would go if I were you:


Master Weaponsmith/Carbineer/0-4-0-4 Pistoleer and the Ranged speed branch of FS skills..... I still think you won't be eble to do it because I think you need to beCL 80, but this givesyou the specials to do it
