Thread: Looking for advice on buying or making a new rifle. Please help

Ok after having sifted through many threads, I'm still confused. In short, what do I need to do to get the best rifle possible.
Here are my issues:
(1) If Im buying, what would be good pre-slice stats? I have my eye on one that is 1090 max dmg and 82 sac 2.7 spd (i think) unsliced.
(2) Are there any other stats I should pay particular attention to?
(3) When I get it sliced, how should I do it? All damage or some damage, speed, and critical? What about the damage cap?
(4) Say I wanted to get some good loot to have one made for me (e.g. tissues). What are good ones to loot and what are some worthy stats?
(5) Is there anything else I should know?
Im looking for a rifle that will last me a good while that I will ADK and not have to destroy in case a better one comes around.
Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For the best pre-slice weapon you can get right now, get some enhanced power cells in the 170+ range, -8ish SAC. They are making some uber weapons right now. Try to get your SAC on the weapon to 82, andtherest of the pointsall into damage.

Damage can't be sliced as much as speed, so in my opinion ist best to look for a rifle that has high damage (at the very least 1100) and ok/good speed (maybe 2.7 like you said)

SAC. It can't be sliced so make sure that its low, at the most high 80s. You can add PUPs to reduce the SAC though.

Depends what you're rifle is like. For example the damage on mine was already pretty good, so I got a 12% speed slice

For the very best rifles, a stack of AT LEAST 4 and damage of 180 and above. Good speed helps as well. Also keep an eye and theseenhanced power cores (I think thats what they're called). They can be used in crafting too and have mods to reduce the SAC.
