ah ya forget though they only see our gun so it would be why is there a gunn lying under a speeder?

Your speeder doesn't cry out "HE HAS A GUN!" while you try to sneak up on your mobs? I think I just may have to fire my mechanic.

Game mechanics wise, probably... but for realism...
"Oh look, there's a swoop... oh and theres some bloke with a rifle laying under it, yeah... look over- ARGH!"

Those speeders are like hawks! I park mine near rebel bases to monitor activity.
