for general shots yes, buti still want to say that the advanced versions of sniper shot increase the max range at which the shot can be used along with increasing the damage done by the shot
i want to say its 40 for sniper shot, 65 forimproved and 80 for advanced, i will test later if normal and imp sniper shot can fired at 80m

I can tell you now: max on any sniper shot is 65m.

need to test this again myself... at one point during the CU beta the lower level shot had a cap of 45m.

try dumping skills until Imp. Sniper Shot is the highest sniper shot you have and see if you can use it at 65+m
i can not as i forogt to test this befer i dropped rifle to try out some different temps for my non-jedi alt

no what im an suggesting is by dropping down to the box that only gives you Imp. sniper shot (making it your highest sniper shot) and have both cyber arms equipped that you wont be able to fire the sniper shot past 65m
once test center is back I can test. But right now since tcprime is down and I can't change my template at will with the correspondent terminal I will have to wait.

but as Ack has already stated i may i have been looking at a info site with Pre-CU and/orCU-beta info and not realised it
