I would go the sniping tree, mainly because you get the accuracy bonus, not much but anything helps.

I am now 3/3/3/4

I have enough xp to raise one tree up to 4. so what is the general thought on this

I am leaning towards 4/3/3/4 but the long range DB doesn't intrest me

3/3/4/4 come with startle 2, but I don't use starlte 1 all that often

3/4/3/4 meh...need it eventually for master rifleman

4-3-3-4 is the way to go.

x-4-x-x just gives you ranged defence

and x-x-4-x gives you startle shot a crappy version of flushing shot(No stun)

Definitaly sniper, it raises your acuracy. Also, I know you aren't interested in the "Sniper Shot", niether was I until I started PvP. Killing a player from a distance is so handy when you are out numbered and need to make sure your incap dies while you are still in combat with his buddies. You will get so use to using it and become so fast with it, they will start becoming corpses before they even hit the ground.
