Thread: Block fixed with publish 8?
No no no, this can't be.......
Do you know what this means?
I promised that if Block gets fixed I'm going Rifleman/Pikeman.........
I dont know if it did anything just saying it said I blocked a lot.
What does block do?

When you block it halves the damage dealt to you, so if you could find a way to do it 100% of the time it's worth while.

This is right, it blocks 50% of the damage done to you. Someone on the Pikeman board reported the same thing, so perhaps they fixed the typo, although I pvp'd a little last night and looked over my combat log and I swear it still said counterattack. I'll check again.
Pysco, pikeman isn't as bad as it looks, but we totally depend on looted NS lances. And once you get some good ones you basically become the same as a mini-CM, poisoning and diseasing people, but the animations are cool. Compared to the other brawler professions though I'd have to say Pikeman are at a disadvantage.

Well if the Character Tranfer their talking about is a Skillpoint copy and I can copy multiple times, I'm gonna have 8 diffrent rifleman characters on 8 Servers
This way I can keep my pikeman promise and keep my Rifleman/Weaponsmith Character.
But oh ya block is working, I've blocked 3 times in one fight when a Nym's Pirate was load killing me at the Spaceport.

So is it working in that the +block+ appears above your head or the combat spam actually says "Pycso blocks the attack" or something like that? Have you tried it with another player attacking you?
Maybe I'm going crazy, but when I looked over my combat logs last night after running into coronet overt I could have sworn my logs still said I counterattacked.

Yep all 3 times it said I blocked the attack in the combat Spam-Was load kill so don't know if it said it over my head
cool, I'll check it again next time I play. Could you have a player attack you to see if it still says block in the spam? Maybe there's still a bug in PvP, or maybe I was just expecting to see counterattack last night and didn't really read the combat spam closely.
