I just started on the XP to get Novice Riflemen and I was looking for any tips/tricks to do Riflemen with.

Thxs for any help you all can give me !!

I went from Rifles 4 to Novice rifleman fairly quickly by hunting quenkers (2 days - 2 hours each day). You get 3K xp per kill (I grouped with my droid). Head Shot 2 is what I spammed as well. With a decent laser rifle, you dont even need to be armoured as you usually get them before they realise what hit them (2 to 3 hits). This lets you regen your mind pool faster to allow you to spam out more specials. I also am 0 0 3 0 in brawler but will give this up when I master rifleman. I only use it as my last line of defence - two handed allows you to dish out mind damage as well so if you werent able to finish them quickly enough with headshots, use this to attack their already depleted mind pool.

Ok my bad I wasn't specific enough in my post...I am looking for tips/tricks for going thru Riflemen not getting to Novice. Sry bout that.

Currently I am just spamming HS2 till I can get to Counter-Sniper 3 then I will use Flushing Shot 2 for the cone effect till master.....unless I somehow manage to get Rifle Abilities 3 first at which point I will use Flurry Shot 2 for the same reason.

Doing solo group savage quenker missions.

If there is a better route than this plz let me know, thxs.

Well, if you are doing PVE, then get conceal shot. It is all I use. I've soloed bull rancor, dragonets, Black Sun Assassins and a host of lesser critters and am now rifleman 3/2/0/1. I've gone as much as 200 shots without being noticed by my prey. If you have mask scent at all you can really clean the proverbial clock of the natural world.

For PvE conceal shot and a good damage sliced laser rifle does the trick. T21 gives no big bonus unless the creature has some form or armor. No armor=laser rifle Armor=T21 If the creature charges you'll have to decide if you want to use headshot2 or strafe1.

For PvP a spraystick is your best starting rifle. You're not looking for damage but rather to be able to spam dizzy till it lands then /suppressionfire1 which is a posture down. When the get back up the go into a falling down death loop. Feel free to pull out your rifle of choice at this point and headshot till the sun goes down....or until the dizzy effect wears off. This is great vs. any melee.

In order to work up your combat experience faster go buy yourself a factory crate or two of C12 grenades. Powered up they do about 1k damage and have an area effect. You're not going for damage though. You see grenades only give combat experience and nothing more. Using a standard grenade gives me about 200-300 extra experience per throw. The more damage you do with them the more combat experience you get. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend using these unless you're in a group or the mob is chasing you since it will give away your position while sniping. I'd do nasty things for the devs if they let us use imperial detonators or proton grenades. Seriously, they are worth the money.

Once I got hs3... I did grizzled dewback missions to master.... What I like about them is that they dont usually aggro as a group...
