Thread: Is the T21 worth it?

If you can find a good one, they are very expensive and very slow. Is it even worth it to buy, other than how cool they are?

yeah they are worthwhile. at master speed isnt really a factor. T21 is the only weapon that is effective at shooting highly armoured creatures.
the DXR6b is only useful if the target's acid resist is 40% or more less than it's energy resist.

The T-21 is worth it. At master if you can hit the speed cap so speed is not that important. If you can find one with high damage then that would be great. The heavy armor piercing also helps very much.

T-21 absolutely shreds people's armor in PvP. Especially people who have that full stun set to guard against jawa ion. That makes their energy resists like 60-70. Start pelting with the T-21. Only at master. I have master rifle/master marksman so +95 speed. I basically shoot every second with a 8.3 speed rifle. Makes sense right?

Yeah dude, the T21 is the main weapon of any rifleman. The only time I switch to something else is if they have an extreme resistance to energy and are vulnerable to something else. Remember, comp armor is still only an AR1 so the T21's AP3. You get +25% to your damage for every level you beat the armor. damage x 1.25 x 1.25= death.

someone had 60-70 percent energy resists and probably 40 stun resist on his helmet and my T-21 wasn't doing **edit**-all i had to switch to Jawa

I have found my disruptor to be greater then my T21. More from the fact it has higher accuracy and can hit people with high defense mods. I hadly ever use my T21 outside PvE. I dueled someone who has a T21 with my disrutptor, I tore him up, and he had higher defense mods. Im a Riflemen/SL he was a Riflemen/TK.

186-400 dmg jawa: 526.4 dps vs AR1 40%.
186-400 dmg jawa: 614.13 dps vs AR1 30%.
251-665 dmg t21: 214.68 dps vs AR1 90%.
251-665 dmg t21: 429.35 dps vs AR1 80%.
251-665 dmg t21: 644.03 dps vs AR1 70%.
251-665 dmg t21: 751.36 dps vs AR1 65%.
251-665 dmg t21: 858.7 dps vs AR1 60%.
That's without the 75% reduction, of course.
