I have conceal shot but it's a pain in the bum to find a master doc and mind buff and shell out 15k for them. So with conceal shot could I solo quenkers without gaving to get buffs? TIA

You can kill almost anything with conceal shot and a lot of patience. The key to fighting unbuffed is being able to heal yourself. This is due to the high HAM costs. Brandy takes care of the mind drain, and there are other foods that help with Quickness and strength.
I said almost anything because there are NPC's out there that are immune to Riflemen. Those you need other profession to even damage.

i have been soloing them un-buffed, and it works fine.... as long as you don't get a bleed on them (at least i think thats why they attack me) or you miss. in that case i get incapped quickly. but they don't death blow, so you just wait and start again.

Is paying 10k for a set of buffs while running 8k missions for 2 hours that much of a strain? Oh and use two brandy and 3 Ahrisa to eliminate mind drain (w00t I'm a chef).

YES. I started to solo them at novice rifleman, my Headshot2is the best,I'd say about 6-7 hits and their dead. Now im 2/1/0/2 and i kill them in 3-4 hits. Get in a solo group to get that xp upmuch faster.w/o group 2400. w/ group 3100+. I do not believe in BUFFS! (yea thats right, i said it) I prefer Tactics and/Burstrun
BUFFS are for raids and when you want some precious loots

Pretty obvious answer. If you have to ask this question, the odds are against you.
