Thread: Optimal stats for RM/CH/comp armor

Hi,

I am master RM, soon-to-become-master CH, do PvE only, never PvP.

Now, starting to do rancors and harder stuff I find a full comp armor 80% kin resist extremely useful

However, is there an optimum stats setup for me? I understand focus is needed a lot. This is kinda new to me, so I humbly ask for some words of wisdom.

I'd like to migrate my stats so that I need the minimum of brandy and food and doc buffs and still be able to wear my armor.

Are you a Human?

If so, do this:

Health 400/400/400

Action 400/400/400

Mind 1100/1100/1000(or whatever the rest is)

With your pets, you shouldn't be getting hit. If you do, your armor should cover for you well enough until you geta pet where it needs to be. Having some Vercupti on-hand will help also

If you aren't Human, max Focus, then Mind, then Willpower. Keep Health/Action secondaries at their minimum. If you have any points left, disperse them equally between Health and Action.

Hi, thanks a lot!

Yes, am a human... but, minimizing all H & A bars would mean that I have to get buffed (doc or food) to be able to spam specials, due to H/A/M costs of a T21?

Is there a "golden middle way" for this?

You should be able to 'spam' pretty well with that setup, but for big stuff, it could be bad

Where are your other 52 points at? MR/MCH should leave you with 52 skill points remaining. If you put them into Medic, you'll have no problems.

Otherwise, you're going to be needing some kind of food, I'd think. As things are, 1100 Focus means your specials still cost something, so you'll need something for that regardless. With Vercupti, youcanget Health and Action buffed for ~1k for quite a while(45-50 minutes?)or for ~2k for 7 minutes or so. That would definitely let you spam to your heart's content

If this isn't what you're looking for, I can't comment further as I don't think I can help you find an unbuffed middle road that still lets you spam without using Medic. Best of luck

Well, yes, I have Novice medic, but have for the moment reserved quite many SP to artisan, due to my Fusion Energy Side Business(TM) which is making me wealthy one tiny step at a time

I might consider skipping artisan, and fusion generators, if I later can get by by selling loot, and putting the remaining SP on ranger area track or more medic skills.

Anyway, I'll test maxing out my mind stats....Image Designers here I come

Ummm, messed up a bit on the description of Vercupti

At 50 filling, it'll be ~350 to Health and Action for~1 houror ~1k to Health and Action for ~7 minutes(also at 50 filling). Sorry, I must've been think of taking 2 at once I think just one of the 350-ish filling ones should be good enough(will almost double your Health and Action ) if you decde to go that route.

Ah, I see Novice Medic is great. Keep whatever you need in Artisan- Novice Medic 0/0/0/0 is enough to let you use stim Bs which should refill all your Health/Action with one use.

Hi again,

The setup with mind and focus upped to 1100 is very hard on rifleman specials, unless you are buffed. Any other ideas?
