Hi All,
I have a bit of a weird problem going on. I got a crafted Trandoshan hunting rifle made with tissues, had it speed sliced and I have an ADK on it. Up until last night it was working well (even got myself up to Novice rifleman). I come on today, bought myself a CA for rifles, and now the rifle does no more then 1 point of damage, when it should be doing atleast 500 DPS. Anyone maybe have any idea what could be happening?
Did something maybe get borked in the publish? I'm really confused about this one.
Thanks for any help.

Sorry for the late reply. I did notice last night though, a friend pointed it out. The damage type is Blast, now when it was crafted (as far as I know anyway) it was crafted with energy, but now I honestly forgot. Like Isaid, it was working perfectly the night before, so I don't know.
I submitted a ticket early last night like 7pm EST or so, still haven't heard anything on it yet.

It's a known issue and going to be fixed, albeit it will be phased in
1st phase newly looted components will be fixed
2nd phase old looted components will be fixed
3rd phase bugged weapons fixed
They are doing this in phases becuase they want to be extremely careful.
If they screw this up, ALL weapons will be fubar. so it is best to be patient, and let them get it right the first time.
Hang on to your rifle though!

Does anybody other than me have a crafted Trando rifle showing Blast damage type that is not bugged? I have one, showing Blast damage, that is one of the heaviest-damage rifles that I have ever owned, and nothing seems to have changed with it before vs. after Publish 22. Did I just get really lucky?

Should I even bother getting another one crafted? Will it just get screwed up again? I also don't see why it would work the night of the publish then next day not work at all. That one confuses me too.

what are your stats with the working trando (blast) rifle?
Here they are:
Trandoshan Hunter's Rifle Mark 1-B(crafted)
Customization: 100%
Improved Attack Speed: 2%
Enhanced Damage: 8%
Critical Hit Chance: 3%
Damage: 465-1177
Damage: 465-1177
Base Damage Type: Blast
Attack Speed: 2.27
Attack Speed: 2.27
My Modified Speed: 1.37
SAC: 99
SAC: 99
Accuracy Bonus: +64
Wound: 31.05%
I've done some extensive testing on this rifle (posted in another thread currently active on this forum), and it deals some heavy damage (comparable to my other high-end rifles)that appears to be energy. Does anybody see anything about this rifle's statsthat this bug appears to be affecting, or have any explanation as to why I appear to be the only person for whom such a weapon actually works?

no idea.. but it will revert to energy when the fix is rolled live. I can't imagine why it does work right now as blast is a "nonexistent" damage type (the reason that weapons with it do 1 damage)

Hmm, this makes me wonder if the blast bug fix is going to even do anything at all to my rifle (other than chance the wording of the damage type), or if it is already functioning at 100% efficiency.
